Elliot Glicksman – Civil Attorney / Crime Victim Specialist
Survivors Inc. Among his legal accomplishments are his listing in Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers and his AV rating in Martindale Hubbell. He has been certified as a Specialist in Wrongful Death cases by the State Bar for over 25 years.
Elliot was the first President of the Tucson Citizen’s Police Advisory Committee, and is a founder and the President of Jazz in January, the Tucson Jazz Festival. He has been twice named as one of the top 50 Pro Bono volunteer lawyers in the State of Arizona. In 2003, Elliot helped found Community of Concern at Salpointe Catholic High School Since then, he has spoken to parents at Salpointe Catholic High School’s Community of Concern twice a year on underage drinking. Years ago, Elliot began performing stand up comedy.
Over the years, Elliot has served as either the emcee or auctioneer for the Gootter Foundation. This is but one of many charities to which Elliot has lent his talents. Over the years, Elliot has served as emcee, auctioneer or after dinner speaker for Mothers Against Drunk Driving, the Tucson Musicians Museum, Arts for All, the Tucson Girls Chorus, Integrative Touch for Kids, the Volunteer Lawyer banquet, the Educational Enrichment Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Ben’s Bellsand many others. For his work in the community, Elliot was the recipient of the Arizona Chapter of the American Jewish Committees’s 2014 Learned Hand Award for Community Service, he was the 2009 recipient of the Cystic Fibrosis Breath of Life Award, he was a National Philanthropy Day Award.
