Alexandra Gastelum is a nationally credentialed Comprehensive Victim Intervention Specialist. She is currently a Survivor Advocate for Homicide Survivors, Inc., a nonprofit located in southern Arizona serving family and friends of murder victims.
She served two years as a Victim Advocate with the Pima County Attorneys Office, Victim Services Division in Tucson, Arizona. Prior to Victim Services, Alexandra served as the Humanitarian Action Fellow for the McCain Institute for International leadership in Washington, D.C.
Alexandra is also a certified yoga instructor (RYT 200) and leads trauma-informed yoga sessions along with supporting survivors through the criminal justice process. She recently earned her Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher Certification in Costa Rica with Passion Yoga School and BodyWise Institute.
Alexandra graduated Summa Cum Laude with concurrent degrees in Political Science and Criminal Justice from Barrett, The Honors College, at Arizona State University.
